The room was decent; equipped with comfortable beds and a clean, modern bathroom. I appreciated the flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi, essential for unwinding after a day of exploring. The experience was marred by charging inconsistencies, with a double charge that caused unnecessary stress and hassle during our stay. While the hostel staff were friendly, the lack of resolution regarding my billing issue was frustrating. The complimentary breakfast was good and convenient, plus they provided packed lunches upon request, which added value, considering the price. For those seeking budget-friendly options in downtown Köln, Hostel Koln may serve your needs, but be cautious with the billing process.
